Who is Emma?
Hey, it's your new Hits Girl, Emma! I've lived in the Finger Lakes since I was four, and have been an Ithacan since I was thirteen! I graduated from Ithaca High School in 2006, and decided to make the long trek up the hill to Ithaca College, where I recently finished my degree in Recreation Management!

1. What’s the most memorable club you’ve been a part of?
My senior year of college I did an internship at a senior center. I'd like to say that I was chosen, but I basically just begged to be a member of the bridge club. For months I trained in the art of bridge, and can honestly say I still have no idea how to play, but I still remember the experience like it was yesterday!
2. What’s your favorite movie?
BOWFINGER, without a doubt. It doesn’t get much better than Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, and a dog in high heels attempting to make a bad alien movie.
3. What’s your favorite type of dance?
My first instinct was to say “The Shopping Cart,” but after more careful consideration I would have to say salsa dancing. I’ve only done it once, but had so much fun that I’m signing up for another class with one of my best friends.
4. What’s your favorite food?
Truthfully, everything tastes better with peanut butter. I probably go through a jar a week and consider crunchy peanut butter and a big spoon my go-to midnight snack.
5. If you could have one super power what would it be?
I think it would be awesome to be able to teleport. I’m a real baby about flying... wouldn't it be great if you could just close your eyes and end up in Paris?!
6. What was your favorite toy when you were younger?
When I was 8 years old, my little sister and I got a video camera for Christmas. If my mom only knew then that we would force her to star on our weekly talk show (not to mention our “Makeover Madness” episodes), we might not have been as lucky...
7. What’s your favorite TV show?
How I Met Your Mother – I love Lilly and Marshall’s relationship...and I'm really glad I don’t know anyone like Barney!
8. What’s the most played song on your iPod?
I can’t get enough of One Republic’s “Good Life.” Now If only I could whistle that well…
